Gil Asherie - CEO
Gil Asherie is an experienced technology executive with a track record of success at both start-up and enterprise levels. In 1994, Asherie was part of the founding team at R*Tech Systems, an innovative developer of database management products. Following a successful acquisition by Quest Software (NASDAQ:QSFT), Asherie played key roles in sales, product management and marketing, contributing to Quest's phenomenal growth from a small, privately-held company to a worldwide powerhouse in application and systems management.
After leaving Quest in 2003, Asherie co-founded AIseek, a developer of artificial intelligence solutions, later serving as the company's CEO. He holds a BA in Computer Science and English Literature from Cambridge University and an MA in Cognitive Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Anthony Foley - Member of the Board of Directors
Anthony (Tony) Foley is Senior Vice President at Software AG (FWB: SOW), a leading enterprise software company with over €1 billion in annual revenues. Prior to Software AG, Foley was Senior Vice President of International Sales and Worldwide Operations at Quest Software (NASDAQ: QSFT). Under his leadership from 2000 through 2008, the software maker's international business jumped from $13 million to $320 million.
Before working at Quest, Foley headed up the Southern European business of Computer Associates between 1995 and 2000, with a stint before that in corporate and business development at GE Capital. Foley holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from the University of Sheffield.
Ami Levin - CTO and Co-Founder
Ami Levin is a Microsoft SQL Server MVP, with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. For the past 12 years he has been consulting, teaching and speaking on SQL Server worldwide. He manages the Israeli SQL Server user group, leads the local support forum, and is a regular speaker at Microsoft conferences. His latest articles can be found on SQL-Server-Performance.com. Ray Maor - Director of R&D
Ray Maor is an experienced R&D leader, developer and architect. A graduate of the IDF’s Mamram programming school, Maor served for several years as a DBA and Team Leader. Maor went on to consult to the R&D teams of leading technology providers and other companies including HP Israel (Mercury), CA, EDS, Digital Fuel and Bank HaPoalim. Since joining DBSophic, Maor has led the development of the company’s product line. Maor holds a B.Sc. in Management and Computer Science from the Open University.
