Gil Asherie - CEO

Gil Asherie is an experienced technology executive with a track record of success at both start-up and enterprise levels. In 1994, Asherie was part of the founding team at R*Tech Systems, an innovative developer of database management products. Following a successful acquisition by Quest Software (NASDAQ:QSFT), Asherie played key roles in sales, product management and marketing, contributing to Quest's phenomenal growth from a small, privately-held company to a worldwide powerhouse in application and systems management.

After leaving Quest in 2003, Asherie co-founded AIseek, a developer of artificial intelligence solutions, later serving as the company's CEO. He holds a BA in Computer Science and English Literature from Cambridge University and an MA in Cognitive Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Mike Goldstein - Chairman

Mike Goldstein joined DBSophic in 2008. In 1993, Goldstein founded AVT - Advanced Vision Technology Ltd. (VSj on the German Stock Exchange), a leading supplier of on-line print inspection systems and was co-founder of Xceed Imaging Ltd. and Gigalinx Ltd.

In 1991, Goldstein co-founded Dmatek (DTK on London Stock Exchange), a leading provider of electronic monitoring technology, specializing in personal monitoring applications.

He served, from 1986 to 1991, as a project manager at Elron Advanced Development Center, where he developed machine vision-based inspection systems. Goldstein holds a B.Sc. in Physics and a M.Sc. in Engineering, both from Tel-Aviv University.

Ami Levin - CTO and Co-Founder

Ami Levin is a senior database expert with over 20 years experience in the IT industry. For the last 10 years, he has been lecturing, consulting and teaching SQL worldwide. In 2006, Ami was awarded an "MVP" title from Microsoft. He manages the Israeli SQL Server user group, leads the SQL Server support forum in Hebrew, and is a regular speaker at MS conferences.

Ray Maor - Director of R&D

Ray Maor joined DBSophic in 2007. He has worked as a senior Oracle DBA consultant for major companies in the high-tech industry. In this capacity, his clients included companies such as Mercury, CA and Digital Fuel.

Previously, Maor worked at a U.S.-based startup company where he led the development of a challenging .NET Project.

Maor holds a B.Sc. in Management and Computer Science from the Open University.

Hagi Erez - Co-Founder

Hagi Erez has over 18 years of extensive experience in software management, design and development for complex, dynamic environments in both Israel and the USA. Erez has served in various senior management positions since 1998.

Prior to founding DBSophic, he worked as Director of Product Management for Eyeblaster, VP of R&D at 3DME, and VP of R&D at Top Image Systems.

Erez holds a B.Sc. in Math and Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University.
